Most recently, Dr. Margenau is the Founding Partner & COO of Revolution Enterprises LLC, which is a sports entertainment company that presents franchise opportunities in a variety of sports. Unlike the traditional league approach to professional sports, Revolution products are owned by Revolution Enterprises LLC with franchises being licensed to owners/operators. Prior to Revolution, Dr. Eric Margenau had been involved in the ownership and operation of minor league and niche sports teams since 1986. In that time he has owned, operated, and/or managed seven minor league baseball teams, two minor league hockey teams, and four indoor football teams. Some of those teams included the South Bend White Sox, Welland Pirates, Peninsula Pilots, Memphis Chicks, Capital City Bombers, Ft. Wayne Wizards, Mobile BayBears, Quad City Mallards, Louisiana Ice Gators, Orlando Predators, Peoria Pirates, Albany Conquest, and Mohegan Sun/Manchester Wolves. As a sports operator, Dr. Margenau maintains a creative and innovative approach, earning him the respect of the entire sports community. Dr. Margenau is also The Executive Director of the Center for Sports Pyschology. He has been a practicing psychologist for over 20 years. The former host of a weekly radio program on New York's WFAN called Psyching It Out and a writer of a New York Daily News column by the same name, Dr. Margenau has also conducted pregame psychological analysis for NFL football games for NBC. Dr. Margenau is Editor-In-Chief of the Encyclopedia Handbook of Private Practice and the author of Sports Without Pressure, both available from Gardner Press. In his capacity as a sports psychologist, Dr. Margenau has acted as a consultant to seven Major League Baseball teams, helping players deal with their psychological, emotional, and performance problems. Some of those teams include the New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Chicago White Sox. He resides with his wife and son in New York City.
