It also owns AJ Ross Auctions, the industry leader in fundraising art auctions and has helped thousands of hospitals, civic organizations, national foundations, clubs and other non-profit organizations raise millions of dollars by conducting auctions of fine art, collectibles and sports memorabilia. Mr. Appelman is a founding member of the Art Publishers Association, a member of Licensing Industry Merchandisers Association, past President of the Better Bennington Corp. and a former Trustee for Southwestern Vermont Health Care. Mr. Appelman was also the President of the Bennington Bombers Baseball Team, of the NYCBL, before he became a partner in the Albany Dutchmen and relocated the franchise.
