Jack Appelman is the Founder and CEO of Applejack Art Partners, one of the country’s leading art licensing and publishing companies. Through various acquisitions and affiliations around the globe, Mr. Appelman has built a small art framing business into one of the largest worldwide suppliers of art. Applejack has a licensing team that works closely with artists and manufacturers to provide art that promotes brand image, a print and poster division offering one of the art world’s most versatile range of artists’ styles and techniques and a state of the art production facility committed to manufacturing superior products of the highest quality. It also owns AJ Ross Auctions, the industry leader in fundraising art auctions and has helped thousands of hospitals, civic organizations, national foundations, clubs and other non-profit organizations raise millions of dollars by conducting auctions of fine art, collectibles and sports memorabilia. Mr. Appelman is a founding member of the Art Publishers Association, a member of Licensing Industry Merchandiser’s Association, past President of the Better Bennington Corp. and a former Trustee for Southwestern Vermont Health Care. Mr. Appelman was also the President of the Bennington Bombers Baseball Team, of the NYCBL, before he became a partner in the Albany Dutchmen and relocated the franchise. Beneficiaries of Appelman’s multi-faceted philanthropic efforts include, Long Trail School, Burr and Burton Academy, Town of Manchester Parks and Recreation, Bennington Museum, Better Bennington Corp., the Bennington Arts Guild and the Dorset Theater.
